Safe luggage storage in Madrid

1. Storage Agreement

By reserving online or dropping luggage at an authorized LockerLuggage partner shop, you agree to these Terms of Service. LockerLuggage facilitates secure luggage drop-off with vetted local businesses in Madrid.

2. Transparent Rates & Payment

Rates are calculated based on locker size (Small, Medium, XL) and duration (hourly, mid-stay 1–4h, best value 4–8h). Payment is processed at the partner shop counter upon check-in or checkout.

3. Strictly Prohibited Items

For the safety of shops, travelers, and the public, the following items are strictly forbidden from being stored:

• Hazardous, combustible, explosive, or flammable materials.
• Firearms, knives, ammunition, or weapons of any kind.
• Illegal narcotics, controlled substances, or contraband under Spanish Law.
• Perishable or unpackaged food items generating odors.
• Living animals, cash, gold bullion, or negotiable securities exceeding €1,000.

Partner shops reserve the right to decline luggage suspected of containing prohibited materials.

4. Insurance Protection & Liability

Each registered booking is protected by guarantee against accidental damage or theft up to €500 per booking when processed with a verified QR booking code or ticket pass. LockerLuggage is not liable for normal luggage wear, fragile items not properly packed, or undeclared prohibited items.

5. Uncollected Luggage, Overdue Penalty (€200) & Forfeiture

Overdue Policy: Luggage not retrieved within 24 hours of scheduled pick-up without prior communication will continue to accumulate standard rates. If luggage remains uncollected for more than 7 calendar days (1 week / 168 hours) without informing or receiving extension approval from the shop/platform, it is officially classified as Abandoned / Overdue.

Mandatory €200 Penalty: Releasing overdue luggage after 7 days requires immediate settlement of a mandatory €200.00 administrative handling and prolonged holding penalty in addition to standard storage charges.

Forfeiture & Loss of Property ("No Retrieval"): If the €200 penalty and storage fees are not paid, or if the customer fails to claim the luggage within 14 calendar days, the luggage is permanently forfeited. In accordance with Article 615 of the Spanish Civil Code and Madrid Municipal Regulations, unclaimed luggage will be transferred to the Madrid Municipal Police Lost Property Office (Oficina de Objetos Perdidos) or safely disposed of. LockerLuggage and the partner shop bear zero liability thereafter.

We process your personal information under:

• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: Performance of the luggage storage contract requested by the traveler.
• Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: Legitimate interests in securing shop premises, preventing luggage theft, and resolving counter disputes.

2. Zero Third-Party Data Selling

LockerLuggage never sells, rents, or monetizes customer personal information, phone numbers, or emails to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. International Data Transfers

All data is hosted securely in European Union data centers adhering to high-grade ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR standards.
